Looking for advice on broken plastic piece front seat repair

So my front driver seat has some plastic pieces that are around the base of the seat and have separated and a few tabs are broken. Has anyone else had this happen and fixed it?

I went to Acura and pulled up the part replacement cost & part numbers. It's about $200+ for these 2 plastic pieces.

$171 and $46 I'll prob need the screws too...

I would pull the parts from a junked car. it will happen again, if you look at the steel piece protruding from underneath the seat...the weight of the driver caused it getting in and out

So it looks like part #26 is pushing it out then?

I'll take a closer look at it this weekend. I don't really care too much about the cost of the parts since I'll do all the work myself.

oops, I was in the wrong sub-section. the TLX has a metal bar underneath that cracks #14.
take a closer look and inspect whats making it separate.

if you dont care about price, get that shit fixed then!!

Yes the tabs or clips or whatever holds it together on mine broke too so now #6 is hanging loose, or should I say was hanging loose since some super glue did the trick. I pushed it inside the broken tab and with some super glue and a brick to hold it in place, overnight, it looks perfect like nothing happened. Sorry, not spending $200 or whatever on a piece of plastic that nobody really sees ever. If I ever need to take the seat apart, like this is not going to happen, well, I'll see what I can do then.

I know i'm a little nuts. But I've Zip tied and duct taped too many things in the past. Yes it worked for a while but then always breaks again later. I'd rather do it right the first time. For the most expensive part I might look for a junk yard deal. The other one is cheap enough at ~$40.

Just to follow up. I have order part #14, there was a plastic clip that broke and it hanging down which is causing #6 to come free.

Once i get the part in i'll take some pictures of the repair process. should be pretty straight forward.

Hi all. I have completed the seat repair, took about 1 beer and 35 minuets. I took some picture while I was taking everything apart.

Busted Clip
Busted Clip where it should latch on
front was bolted but the clip on top of this broke too

And here is the final product.

Front is now connected securely
Nice and snug, holding the seat cushion correctly now.

Passenger seat cover replaced

Hi there. Here it is my experience in details. I have replaced passenger`s seat cover, I did the same procedure for the driver`s sear. Difference only lumbar button - in order to take off a cap of the button you have to cut dettached cover. It will take 2 hours of your time.
First, it would be convenient to fix length of the seat belt by special fixer:

Second, there is second special tool required. Screwdriver:

You should start from detaching front cover. Unscrew 1 bolt and unplug cover:

Then carefully detach button caps:

Unscrew side cover bolt:

Then you will be able to detach side cover. Be careful with plastic clips, do it gently. Probably you will brake some of them, but don`t worry, you already have replacement.
Detach program module by unscrewing 2 bolts:

Now you are able to pull plastic cover from the car.
Your aim is 14mm bolt that fixed seat belt in place. Unscrew it:

You are all set! Just replace plastic cover and repeat all action backward. I also hammered hinge below in order to prevent same issue, however it is up to you.
