Limited time promotion! ATLP Quad FWD and SH-AWD exhaust system SALE

Hi there, for a limited time we are offering a special discount to a limited number of people on these awesome exhaust CAT-BACKs from ATLP. We are doing 10% off. This is a pretty big chunk off the pricing which we NEVER do. We are limiting to 4 FWD and 4 SH-AWD systems for 4g TL people. NO MORE THAN THAT. We will run until May 4th 2012. Shipping is by mid June 2012.

Both systems have awesome 4" Quad tips that look amazing in the huge bumper cut-outs on these TLs.

Sound is smooth and deep with just a bit of "attitude" that makes them sound more European I-6 than Japanese V6. Even without a resonator, you will not get drone with them, however resonators are optional for those looking for the least intrusive sound in the cabin.

We have dyno proven these systems to increase horsepower by 6 and torque by 7 to the wheels on AWD models, which translates to about 10 to the crank on all 4g cars. Solid gains!

For those looking to get a jump on it, check out with the following coupon codes:
atlp4gfquad10 if you want a FWD system

atlp4gaquad10 if you want an SH-AWD exhaust.

Some vids of the AWD system (the FWD sounds basically the same).

Great deal. I have this exhaust and love it. Btw Marcus I have the non-resonated FWD version and was wondering if I wanted to put on a resonator what size resonator would I need and where would I need to weld it to?

Email support@heeltoeauto.com and I will set you up with the right one. We offer them for about $70-80.

Yes COMPLETELY bolt on to the stock cat with no mods to the car needed at all. CONSIDER getting a J-pipe for much more trouble-free power and completely emissions legal.

Just want to confirm that no welding is needed at all? So this system just hooks up onto the stock hangers and assembly?

I am very interested in purchasing a FWD resonated system. So that's $1475 + $38(shipping) - 10% sale through the link and coupon code. Is this correct? Whenever I go to checkout I get hit with an error page so I never see my final price - this might be something on my end though due to the internet service at work

Will do. I'm actually trying to get a specific resonator but I need to know how long of a resonator and what style resonator would be best suited for my FWD ATLP cat-back

NO welding at all. As simple as removing your exhaust component bolts/nuts and reassembling it with the new one. Stock hangers and all. All I remember was cutting a little useless metal piece right near the J-pipe but that was no biggie

Bolt on = no welding my friend

you would actually be doing $1475 -10% +$38, but yes. I am not sure what error you have...since posting this 2 3g quads were sold already so it should be working. It may be an issue with the SSL and your work as you mentioned.

Really? Which one? You know that different sized resonators will work different so just getting similar sized ones will not necessarily yield similar results...

We recommend Magnaflow resonators exclusively. I would not suggest anything else. You are welcome to try them but we don't have sizing recommendations as we have not tested them.

The one I'm looking at is Magnaflow. I sent you an e-mail as well with the link to the resonator but don't know if that is the one to fit. I'm open to recommendations

Has anyone heard this exhaust next to the xlr8 exhaust?

More importantly at WOT?

I can handle the xlr8 except at WOT.

Thanks

Side by side? No....I have heard both. While I personally prefer the ATLP there isn't much else to really say that will mean anything. What I have heard of the XLR8 systems is that they are a bit burbley. The ATLP is more throaty. But don't specifically quote me here.

Thanks but how loud is the ATLP at WOT.

I swear that at WOT with the xlr8 my wife can hear my car 3 blocks away

When I had the system, it wasn't that loud at WOT. Mind you though, only had a K&N filter element, stock j-pipe/cat, and the ATLP system.

Now if you add in anything with the exhaust, will definitely change the sound, as the exhaust flow is smoother with less obstuctions.

Hope that helps.

did you get the resonated one or the non-resonated one?

im about to pull the trigger but still deciding if i should go with an aftermarket magnaflow resonator or the one that they provide.

I think you should just go for the resonated one. Save yourself the hassle of chopping your brand new exhaust to put in a resonator

Well mine isn't brand new. I got mine for over 2 years. Ask me 2 years ago if I want to chop off my exhaust and put a resonator I'd say no. But if thats what you want to do, by all means

I didn't have any resonators on mine, but if you plan on adding a J-pipe and/or an HFC/race-pipe...then having resonators whouldn't be a bad thing to have if you wanted to tame the sound a little bit.

You do what you gotta do. I wouldn't order an exhaust wanting a resonator then sit at home waiting for delivery only to install and go to the muffler shop to get a resonator welded *shrugs

I have had at least one 3g Quad customer order with a resonator only for them to email me saying they thought the system was too quiet.

System isn't too quiet for me I just want to get rid of some of the low end drone as I have j-pipe/test pipe/hfpc with the system. Doesn't really bother me just when I drive family around is when I tend to care cause they always bring up the noise issue. I sent you an e-mail about the resonator waiting for your response

No shipping to Canada? Or at least to my postal code. The cart won't give me shipping fees. I guess no love for the Canadians....

We CAN ship to Canada. Working on a solution for the cart error now. It has to do with the entered size/weight of the box.

Time is running out!

A little loud....that is a little subjective. A resonator would have some effect on that. But mostly this system is made to be heard.

Besides it being a little louder than you'd prefer, how does it sound?

Honestly, now that Ive driven around with it for a day and a half. I think its perfect! Im pretty happy with the fitment, sound and build quality. It looks really nice with the OEM kit too.

The ATLP canisters are both bolt on, I dont think you would be able to attach it to the stock piping. maybe heeltoe can chime in.
