Left windshield strip peeling off?

Left windshield strip peeling off?
Just noticed my left windshield is showing some rubber strips peeling off. Does this need to be replaced soon? 2010 TL base

i mean, not soon, but if it bothers you, then replace it.

the windshield is held in place with adhesive, the rubber trim is just trim to prevent water and debris and dresses up the windshield area.

so, if it's bothering you, replace it!

great thanks. If it’s just cosmetic I’ll hold off on replacing for now.

Yeah you can probably wait until it rips and annoys you by flapping against the window while you drive. Not worth the effort to replace if it's just that little tear, and it's not bothering you.

It is connected to the whole chrome peice that goes all the way dow the back of the car. If you don't take care of it now it will rip all the way down your car swinging around and smacking your car leaving nasty melted rubber marks all over the place.
