Just bought a 2010 TL Tech + SH-AWD--- Suggestions?

On to my 3rd Acura. First I had a 98 TL, just traded in my 06 MDX, and now have the TL. I am pretty familar with the Tech Package on the MDX however I was wondering if you all have any hints for the new Tech Package? It seems like it offers alot and I wanted to make sure not to overlook anything. I plan on pairing our iPhones up to it and running an iPod to it for music. Anything else I should do or know?

Any and all suggestions about this car are highly encouraged!

The new TL is able to stream music over bluetooth with the iphones so you won't need to run the ipod if you don't want to.

the play and pause feature is a little buggy but streaming music via BT is great. you can also stream internet radio from the phone, which is a great alternative for XM.

#1 Paint the beak and tail trim (see Nexson). A body color 09-11 beak is much better than the '12.

#2 Vinyl black all the chrome handles and trim.

#3 Vinyl black the rear reflectors. I also vinyled the side amber reflectors up front and the odd "Oklahoma-shaped" square fog light surround.

It will looks like less like a mule of mismatched trim and more like an aggressive stealth vehicle.

go to myacura.com and register your car, you can keep maint logs, radio/nav codes, and other stuff there, and you can find and discover all the features of your cars tech system...also you can view your owners manual in pdf form is you wish...

so for your 3rd post, you decided to tell a member to take his 40k car and post up a bunch of vinyl overlays on it...wow...he was really only asking about the interior tech features, but i am sure your advice about putting all kinds of stickers on his car will be taken seriously...

I couldn't find a black vinyl that was sticky so I used black electrical tape. Has a nice shine to it. And then because I want people to know that my car is a work in progress, I put some bondo here and there. Just kinda sending the message that some serious after-market sh***t is in the offing from a real auto visionary.

I get it but he asked for "any" suggestions on a black TL - I just bought one and addressed the main beak issue by having it painted.

And I meant stealth as in stealth fighter - the TL actually has nice aggressive angles like a Cadillac that look more cohesive with out the mismatched trim.

So I used vinyl but it doesn't look "murdered" or "stickered" - just cleaner. If you like the TL's trim then leave it. Otherwise have it all painted.

OP ignore this post...Enjoy your TL as is...Seems to me the poster of the quoted thread really regrets getting his TL/he is one of those mod crazy people...I'm not a player...
