HID lights question - the clip retainer - How?
I must have tried just about everything to get that, minus taking off the fulcrum screw.
How do you get that off? Ya I looked at the guides however it looks like you push it back and then squeeze it in, then pull out....Much like the lever on a cpu.
Still I could not get it off before the weather turned ill.
Anyone have any 1st hand experience how to undo it?

All d2s bulb clips are the same

I had a local shop did the replacement of the old D2S bulbs. They had the exact same problem I had with the right low beam light. The mechanics could not get that clip to release so instead of taking off the fulcrum, they removed the bumper to get at it. Since I have gone to them in the past for 20 years. They just charged me 40 dollars for the whole deal.
I felt vindicated that the shop had the same problem I had with that right D2S clip. Heck my thumb and finger still has a sore spot from the 30 attempts to get those clips to release.
At least that day was not a total loss, I was thinking everything was going to be cake after installing my Acura : Morimoto XB LED fog light kit in 20 minutes.
