ummm... not quite sure how to post pics. do i have to be a member for 15 days before i can post?

No you do not have to wait 15 days. But you do have to wait 15 days to upload pics to your garage or set an avatar.
If you have a place to host your pics then adding them to a thread is easy. Click the picture icon and paste the link to your pic.
