We have the same issue in Oregon. Tint is 35% or above. I run 25%, never been an issue (even on a traffic stop). Home-boy is black and gets pulled over for less than 35%...but, ohhhh no, it's not racial profiling...

Welcome aboard Lvoe_Dave, if you want to explore some 18", 19" or 20" wheel options from RonJon Wheels, lmk. Our wheels are factory built to fit the TL perfectly and hub centrically for a vibration free ride. Even the styling fits the aesthetics. Take a look:

I use to live in Philadelphia where the police really didn't care much about the % of your tints. That is because 3/5 cars in Philly are tinted at least 20%. Now that I am in the burbs, I am more conscious when I am driving pass the police with tints. I usually reveal the moon roof glass to let the moon shine in so that the police can see my head instead of just seeing a blacked out window. Or sometimes I even bring the windows down half way

Nice wheels! Was the suspension on this car altered? I am on the fence about modifying the suspension on my car to compliment a nice set of wheels, but it would be much cheaper to find wheels that looks nice on the standard suspension.

UPDATE: I have an appointment to get my windows tinted tomorrow (I will update with a pic when it is finished). BUT Who has the gray leather interior and what are you using to clean it? I have some dark marks on my back seats from cardboard boxes and I want to buy the right leather cleaner to get it off.

I have the grey interior and I use Meg's Quik Interior Detailer, Gold Class Leather Cleaner & Conditioner as well as APC+.
On stubborn stains, I spray APC+ on to a detailing brush to agitate the stain and wipe off. Then I follow up with the cleaner & conditioner.
Just note, our leather has a protective coating so you do not want to get too aggressive that you wear this off.

Quick update:
This past weekend I added LED bulbs to my front door bottoms, and the license plate area.
I also got the car tinted 20% all around like I said I would..
This is a bad pic, but it next to my bro's 2012 sh-awd

wash, wax, roof spoiler and plasti dip
So I haven't done much with my car yet since finances are tight. I am currently saving to have the OEM kit in a couple weeks (I can't wait for that). I've done some little modifications:
-LED lights for driver and passenger doors & license plate
-roof spoiler
- 20% tint
-experimenting with plasti dip
-ordered aluminum sport pedals from ebay
here are some pics:
Did a quick bucket wash and wax at my uncle's (iphone pics)
That Ass
roof spoiler
close up on roof spoiler
Doesn't look bad with the Plast Dip
I messed up so I will be redoing the emblems over this weekend.. it is not suppose to be inverted but I figure i'll leave it like that until this weekend.. (hate windy days)

Does anyone own the 2012-2013 TL's Bodykit? Are there resellers in AZ that has this in stock? Did everyone buy their kit from the dealer?
Let me know! thanks!

Congrats on your new car. Had Gray leather in my TL for 6 years. No noticeable wear when I sold it with 55K miles on it.

Acura in Montgomeryville, PA gave me the hardest time with cancelling my extended warranty I bought. They see a 24 year old and they tried to take advantage of me. SCAMS! They even told me if I wanted to cancel my warranty contract I will not get my taxes back?! WTH is that? Did they think I am stupid? SCAMS...
