Correct tire rotation pattern for SH-AWD?

I was looking through the manual and saw that there was only one tire rotation pattern. It looks like a FWD pattern but I have an SH-AWD model. What's the correct tire rotation pattern for SH-AWD? Is it the one pictured in the manual? Or is it the usual AWD pattern (rears directly up front, fronts diagonally to the back?)

Also, while I'm here, how often do you rotate your tires? I've always followed the every other oil change method, but some people say 5-10k miles. Especially with the maintenance minder giving different intervals to change oil, what do you guys do?

I don't know if its right or wrong, but I rotate my tires when I change over from summer to winter and vice-versa. I only put on 8000km or so between.

P573 in my Owners manual - course if you have directional it is front to back and back to front, tires have to stay on the same side.
