Best way to remove scratches from Oem grill?

Hi everyone!

I have a 2009 Acura tl sh-awd, I got the grill painted black around 4 years ago and I recently removed it due to some major rock chips. During removal the grill did get scratched up a bit as I had to use a metal puddy scraper.

What is the best way to remove some minor scratches/blemishes from the oem grill? Best to use a metal polisher with some elbow grease or buffer?

The material of the grill seems like it's plastic but with metal or chrome finish? If it's plastic what is a good plastic polish to use?

yeah, the grille is plastic dipped into some kind of "chrome-like paint"
if you scratched up the finish, you won't be able to fix it.

your best bet is to paint over it again.

Was there something wrong with the previous thread you had regarding the exact same thing?
