Anyone know a Roof Spoiler that does NOT curve up for the 4G TL ?

I figured I would just start a new thread as I have a specific question and I didnt want it to get buried at the bottom of the other roof spoiler thread.
I see all these roof spoilers on ebay but its hard to tell in the pictures if the spoiler curves up or is flat like an overhang(similar to whats on the MDX). If anyone knows of a seller who sells ones like this let me know.

Agreed, not worth it, imo.

The Sarona Spoiler is hands down the best made and looking roof spoiler available. I have had one on my 3G TL and I now have one on my 4G TL. Yes its over triple the price of the eBay spoilers, but the eBay spoilers don't look good. IMO you are wasting $75 on the eBay spoilers, I would rather not have one at all. All of the eBay spoilers I have seen look nothing like the Sarona spoiler, they start flush with the roof and have a big curve up, like a wave. The sides usually aren't flush with the rain rails either.

As for them getting ripped off/stolen. I used just under 2 rolls of Loctite powerband (100lbs per roll holding strength). It took me over 30 minutes to take it off with a heat gun. You are not just going to walk up and take it off without damaging it.

BTW price is $328 shipped unpainted.

328 UNPAINTED ? So what are we talking about 450 dollars total to have it painted ? Too rich for my blood for what it is.
I'm sure it looks good and all, but if that's my only option I'm definitely not getting a roof spoiler. I've seen plenty of older threads with some nice looking roof spoilers, problem is not everyone remembers which seller they got it from. I'll have to research more. I would be 99% sure some of the other members didn't pay 400.00 for a painted roof spoilers.

I believe that BMWOEMSHOP/Ebay has a new offering that's similar to what you're describing. I was interested in it but the pictures are too close to the spoiler to get an idea of how it truly looks.

Additionally, they don't accept questions/emails.

Yep, that's the one. I appreciate you taking the time to post, as I wasn't able to at the moment.

I'm interested in purchasing it also, but for the reason I described initially. I've held out.

Agreed - the eBay one looks pretty shitty. Do it right, or don't do it at all.

I just bought this one last week:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181714379934?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Doesn't stick up like some of the other ones I've seen and you can't really beat $85 with shipping and paint included.

It came in last night and the paint match was perfect. I have the silver moon color as well.

Interested in pics also, I too have Silver Moon and looking for a roof spoiler. Interested in the Polyurethane material it is made from since it is flexible and then painted. ( May crack? )

Looks like they offer two versions, the VRS and the RRS, the VRS looks to me from the pics on the ebay ad that it is a straight design, the RRS loos to curve up a bit.

Yea, potmilkz, the the one you posted looks nice too.

I took a pic of the wing before install, it doesn't seem to creep up as much as the others

I like this one better too, however that is maybe the worst looking picture and I cant seem to get any more info from this seller. I would like to see at least a few more pics or have someone comment who already owns this particular one.

Thanks. Ya the other one looks flatter, but it looks like it just follows the windshield and doesn't have ANY angle from the glass..

Installation is cake. Make sure your windshield is clean and that the outside temp is above 70*F. You should do a test fit to center it. Mine has like a few millimeters on either side of the spoiler to the trim. I think this wing is universal for many cars so there may not be a precise measurement each time they cut it.

sorry for the crapping smartphone pics but I also bought the same wing which I'm really pleased. the color was matched perfectly and instalation was a piece of cake. the design compliments the factory flat trunk lip.
