Any one bought AMP'D Light up Emblems ?

I saw a ad for some light up emblems being advertized on this site and they look cool but I just want to know if anybody out there has ordered them and if there any good. There not cheap $100-$200 each, I wanted to get the front and back just wanted to make sure there not junk before I buy them. Heres the link too.

Please don't let me see you with those emblems in Nor Cal. I'll put soy sauce on your car if I do.

Wow....lots of haters here, and lots of guys who have posted jibberish too.

Jake, I've got the Amp'd Emblems on both the front and back of my TL. I've got the red logo on the back (to match the rear tail lights) and the white Amp'd logo on the front (to match the cleared headlights). Both look terrific and very classy.

LawnPro, yes-I drive a 3G, but these lights are very subtle and not ricey. Have you seen them in person?

For you guys who've never tried them or never seen them in person, I would suggest you save your smug comments until you've done so......

I would have to see it in person to decide. I wouldn't mind one on my steering wheel to add some noticeable ambient lighting to my interior.

I dont know OP, they will definitely look good in a Fast and the Furious movie, but in real life, I will not put it on my Acura. Unless, its an older Acura, may be a show car, with ground effect lighting, kickass sub, amps, speakers and head-unit and what-not. Only and only then I will have them on my car. As far as my 4G TL is concerned, I will say, "No way Jose!"

Ohh I got it alright.. It was just lame.
So everyone has a problems with some light up emblems but lowering springs, body kits, exhaust systems, intakes, changing/clearing out headlights, rims, spoilers and all the other stuff people did to there car on this thread aren't ricey lol

Im in for pictures of them installed. The only place i would consider using this would be if I do a custom sound system with the logo somewhere in the layout.

I've had them for about 2 years. Honestly, they look like they are OEM. It's a low key mod that really adds to the look of the car. You can see pictures in My Garage (click on the title of my signature below). Just know that photographing these are difficult in order to give you a really good look of the mod.

Man, what are folks' problem? Haters just gonna hate, I suppose.

The definition of rice is a mod that is outlandish - like an oversized gigantor wing. These are anything but outlandish. You're right, they look subtle and OEM. I get compliments on mine all of the time. People are blown away as to how cool it looks and more importantly, I love how it looks. Subtle. OEM. Slick. Seriously, is this rice: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/victls-build-progress-thread-857812/??!?

Hell, if I was a 4G owner, I'd probably get them to distract from the general fugliness of the car!!

Everyone has their own opinions on it.. personally its too over the top for me..

same thing goes for people putting LED strips in their headlights to get that audi DRL look.. it just looks tacky...

now of course if you are those type of people that like that attention and love to do the over the top look then its all good..

but yea... i never thought id see it on a acura.. saddens me.

All I know if Audi or BMW put the lighted emblem on their cars, it would be all the rage!
Looks Ok to me. Its very subtle and looks OEM. IMO its no worse then lighted sills or puddle lights. Of course BMW and audi have that so that makes it OK for everyone.

^^^Exactly. Now, since Audi puts LED's in their headlights, so is everyone else too.

Sadly, no other manufacturer's LED's look as good as Audi's.

I would say BMW's halo ring is close. But you are right most others just look tacky.

You guys here kill me! Hahaha

@ Jakeyfranky dude the reason why people are doing this is because they dont think its a good idea. It gives the car a "cheap" look. Do i like them yeah theyre ok, but would i put them on my car? Nope to each his own, use the forum here and get ideas of what you can do but remember that its your car, so mod it like you want to!

But no hoodscoops or chrome fender grilles please

I love the lite-up emblem, but I don't see myself spending 100+ dollars doing that, where I can easily get them from ebay or creating my own from just spare emblems & leds,... but comparing this to lowering springs & subs or even engine parts,... SMDH, real work goes into building that, not no light up emblem,.... :-|

The severe negative comments crack me up. I think they look cool as well but I won't add them .. mostly because they don't offer them for the 4G (not that I saw, anyway)

They look okay to me. They seem to be a little bright though. A little dimmer light would be my choice if I were to do them. By the way, the Cadillac Allante had this. It served as the CHMSL.

Since when is a bright ass red emblem on the trunk of your car subtle?

I gave the emblems a lot of thought. I like a little bling, but I just don't see this working. I even thought about one for my truck. Still not seeing it work. Just saying.
