Aem v2 cai?

Since the AEM V2 intake isn't available for our platforms, has anyone considered modifying a 3rd gen intake to work on the 4th gen TL? It seems like adding a MAF sensor wouldn't take an absurd amount of effort. What am I missing? I just bought a used one for my RDX and plan to give it a shot.

I don't see why you couldn't do it. You'd probably want to place the MAF at approximately the same point that it's mounted on the stock tubing but otherwise I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. . There are short ram intakes that have a spot for the MAF and as far as I know they work fine. Except they pull in warmer air than the stock intake so they're not so popular.
