Advise on whether to buy this 2012 TL In Winnipeg
Hello guys,
Im really interested in purchasing an Acura TL as my first car. I need advise as to whether it will be smart for me to purchase this 2012 Acura TL with 92,000 kms on it. The seller says he does not use it in winter. The carfax is clean and he just had a fresh safety done on the car. After negotiating for weeks, he is willing to sell it to me for $13,500. What do y'all think ? https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/...ationFlag=true |
I have 2013 Acura TL SHAWD and I used it in the winter all the time. Snow Tire, chains & tow chain - bunch of Winter fun

I think it's an okay deal. Too bad it's a base model though.

Base model, TPMS is on and ugly wheels. I mean if you like it go for it.

Quick update. I offered the guy 12k and he got so mad. I explained to him that I value the car at 12,000 since its a base model and there are paint chips on the front bumper. Overall he wasn't happy.

The only thing I'd buy in Winnipeg is a bus ticket.
I kid. Looks like it's in decent condition. As for the fresh safety, that was done by the seller, right. You would, of course, do your own inspection. |
Of course. I like the car, I just don't value it above 12k.

lol I don't value the Acura NSX over $50k but that's not how it works.

Exactly. If I don't value it more than 12k , I would not buy it for higher than that. However, the sellers perspective is obviously different.

Actually, I think that's exactly how it works. If he doesn't value it at more that $12K, then the decision is made. Agreed, the market might say it's worth more, but his decision process seems right to me.
