Yeah exactly, the V6 TSX never came in 6speed here

Also OP, I would not downgrade to a 2.4 TSX. Stick to the TL or keep hunting for another V6 TSX. Patience is key.

Tbh, the ONLY TL that checked out and is in my range is the original one i posted. The seller has come down to $11k. Wont go any lower. 124k driven. Excellent maintenance records etc.

Only issue are those small ass surface rust. Which according to body shop guys isnt bad and is considered minor.

I can not find any other in my range i looked at 7 others. All had issues and owners were oblivious as to what a timing belt is etc etc.

Should i pull the trigger on this one for $11k?? Small guys say they can repair it for as low as $400. The bigger guys say they can do it for around $1500ish

yup.
trust me just be patient.
there is one type-s 6mt with 132k listed in my area , has a rebuilt status mind you (4500 damage to left rear quarter panel) but other than that the car seems clean
priced at 8800.

I wouldn't necessarily say its the car for you, but definitely shows there are better deals to be had, even if its means waiting and going out of province for it!
it takes lots of patience and time to find a clean car OP, try and be patient.

Not sure if you got that TL already but check this one out
https://wwwa.autotrader.ca/ico/acura...202X2&sprx=250

White/brown leather combo and it fits your budget. Kilometres are kinda high but looks nice and clean

Hey thx man. Ive called this one. Owner has done "private" maintenance. Timing belt has not been changed and 181km is high.
Thats why i didnt go for it.

Some of u might call me a sucka but ive closed the deal with the OP TL that i posted.
Main reasons i did so:
Only 124.5km driven
2012
Timing belt done
All acura maintenance records available. Zero issues
I managed to reduce price from 12.5k to 10.7k
Ive been extremely time crunched. I have personal reasons for that and this is the best i could do given the circumstances.

That minor bit of rust is the only fuck up tho. I showed it to several "professionals". They all comment that its surface rust. Will be grinded down and if rust proofed yearly shouldnt come back. So fingers crossed there. Im picking up the vehicle on saturday.

The only other one i feel im missing out on is this
https://www.kijijiautos.ca/vip/9688871
Cons are
1. The timing belt hasnt been changed yet. $1k expense.
2. Owner not budging from 11k to 11.5k absolute min.
3. High mileage. 169ish km driven

Donít be afraid of the higher mileage, Iím at 190k and it still runs strong. Iíve seen some on the market here in the prairies at over 280k. They will last if maintained.

Thatís a crazy amount of rust in those white vehicles! I have a 2013 FWD TL in Bellanova White Pearl and havenít seen a speck of rust in those areas on my car. I live in Connecticut which is part of New England and we use lots of salt in our roads during the winters. Makes me think that the owners of those cars just let the salt bake on the paint! Good luck on finding a keeper.

169km driven but timing belt hasnt been changed either.
Hes posted for 11990 but i think he mentioned last hell do is 11.5k
Timing belt is 1k. So the whole thing will cost me 12.5k for an AWD 2012 with 169km.
Actually 12.7k cuz ill have to forego the deposit on the other TL
