Acura TL with rear and front a-spec kit

Has anyone purchased and installed only the rear and front pieces but not the side skirts? are the side skirts that necessary? I’m looking to save some $$$ as I live in Canada, so if i can cut any “unnecessary” costs that’d be great obviously.

In my opinion, the side does make a big difference. If you are going to skip a piece, i would skip the rear and just do the front and side kit. I would save up a little longer and get the complete kit. It makes it flow so much better.

Ah you seem to be right. I recently did my suspension and i'm torn between doing the wheels and tires first or the full body. I think ill go with the full body. Thank you!

Honestly get the front only and call it a day. The rear and sides mean no more mud-guards!

I honestly didn't think of it that way, definitely changing my views now on getting the whole kit or not. This car is my daily and it is winter driven.. thank you.

lol i was convincing myself the side doesnt make a difference until i started reading this thread. I have the front and rear just havent put them on yet. They discontinued my color(borealis blue) no one has that color anyway. I ended up getting the black fr and rr body kit. Hoping it will look different now that the new cars are coming with more black accents. Ill post a pic once i put them on hopefully this summer.

Call all the dealers that you would realistically be able to pick it up from. Including dealerships in the USA if you are near the boarder. Their prices will vary.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your kit?

Sorry to revive an old thread but the front and sides make the most difference imo. I have front sides and rear but the biggest visual impact was from front and sides.
