Cool Acura BSI Install

I just got a 2012 TL SH-AWD Tech but I should have gotten the Advanced SH-AWD.

Now I find myself looking for the parts that make up the BSI system to see if i install it.

Besides these parts that i have found and obviously I need the inside light parts what other parts do I need?

http://parts.sonsacura.com/showAssem...&searchString=

Does anyone else want to add this to their car?

Do I need a special extra harness or are the cables in place due to mass production of this car?

Those that have this BSI system please chime in.
Would some of you please look under the light part of the driver side BSI so I can get a part number, please?

I know its a lot to ask since the car is so new and some don't even want to take it apart so soon. But I need some part numbers to get this done.

just trade it in for a advanced; you would be the first person to have owned three different 2012 acura TL's.. i'm sure its a world record or something?

seriously though, did you not learn from your first mistake? seriously? do your research BEFORE you buy the car and make sure you get everything you want/need.. retrofitting would probably cost more than it would have been to get the advanced package to begin with and you still dont have ventilated seats..

True its just that i had it in mind but its no big thing. Guess I just wanted a project to work on.

Anyways, by the time i am ready to trade in the car there will be other more interesting toys on the TL. TL 2015 should be a Hybrid with park assist.

Just quickly glancing at the link it looks like retrofitting these will end up a couple $thousand give or take. Are you sure you don't want to just look in the mirrors or turn your head a bit before lane changes?

seriously i couldnt care less about the BSI; what i really wanted was the ventilated seats.. wish acura didnt make me choose between manual transmission or ventilated seats...

You're going to spend some money in playing around with your AWD-Tech. Why not use that money to trade up to an AWD-Advance ?

Then you have the BSI, and no more regretting not buying the Advance in the 1st place.
