4th Gen TL Front Caliper bolt torque - Some conflicting data.
Today I took my winter tires off my 2010 TL SH-AWD and put on my summers. In preparation for this a couple of weeks ago I searched and downloaded the service manual off azine posted below.
https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-2009-2014-123/acura-service-manual-834172/
I also decided to service the brakes at the same time as swapping the tires, but noticed that in the service manual the stated torque for the front brake caliper bolts is 53 lbf/ft.
I looked at a couple of other sites for the front caliper bolt torque requirements and found conflicting data "36 lbf/ft".
Can anyone confirm if they have torqued their front bolts to 53 lbf/ft? I have broken caliper bolts attempting to meet Acura's torque requirements in the past.
Thanks,

Do you have Brembos & is it the bolt that holds the caliper to the hub carrier?

From my 2010 TSX V6 service manual:
Caliper *Bracket* bolt (the one that holds the bracket to the hub) 79.6 lbf.ft.
Flange bolt (the one that holds the caliper to the caliper pin): 37 lbf.ft.
The flange bolts are the ones that you normally take off when removing the pads for replacement/service.

Just a question, where did you get these numbers from? I couldn't find them in the manual and I want to make sure I'm torqued correctly as I just did all my brakes and rotors with factory parts. Thanks man
