4th gen tl 6mt rarer then type 6 speed?....

Hey folks first post, long time lurker of the acuarzine forum. I have an 07 type s 6 speed Carbon bronze 237k runs and drives great, and Iately I have given thought to the underated/spectacular 4th gen tl 6mt. As many others mention, they really are hard to find. I thought the type s was hard but i have reason to believe the 4th gen just might be more rare and difficult to get.

Dont know if many of you saw it, but there was 2013 tl 6mt silver moon /ebony 2 owner 26k miles for sale at acura boston listed for 23k. sold last week and the sad part, I was one day to late to possibly being a new owner of one. While talking to a salesman they did inform me the new owner supposedely paid cash for it on the spot and is from the new york state area( is he or she here haha?). How long did some of you wait to find a good example. I look now only 2 are in the entire US both higher mileage. I remember back in 2017, early 2018 Bridgewater Acura used to have at least 2 for sale a month now nothing.

Becarefully using the term rare!! Some members will argue that a TL cannot be rare! ( I disagree!)
I looked for mine for months, being prepared to travel any distance. For some reason ur right that Bridgewater Acura seemed to sell 99% of the MT! Thankfully Im in metro Ny area. I actaully got mine at Wayne Acura. It had 1k on it (28k now). Love evey minute of it! I would consider selling but nothing i can think of w AWD and MT in my price range.
I still check web listings quite regularly..rarely is there one w low mileage. Grab it if its there.
Good luck searching! Hope u can find one w good milge.

That car was a hot commodity in a few FB acura groups. Some saying its too much while others say its rare. Its really personal preference. It took me almost 6 months to find mine, and i had it shipped to me . There were a few instances where I got fustrated and missed out on a few locally but glad I didnt get it. Patience is a virtue
