any help would be appreciated.
Hey Pot...

You can get the blinker off by just adjusting the mirror all the way out and reaching in from the front you will see a phillips screw that holds in the blinker light. I had to replace one on my 2010.... Check out my response here with a pdf showing the image... Hope it helps...

josetorres04 was this plug and play upgrade or did you have to run some extra wires as in earlier posts? I think this mod is sweet. Just to clarify I would need the following:

Mirrors: International
http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw...rrors&_sacat=0
These are for acura but for China market and have build in folding option?
Switch:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-Genuine-...9355c3&vxp=mtr
Is this direct fit to TL? or some trimming required?

Anything else that is needed?

Nevermind OP, figured them out...

There's two wires by themselves on the plug,
black wire and white wire...

(-) to black & (+) to white = fold IN

(+) to black & (-) to white = fold OUT

It is plug and play as you can see the plug are the same. You need to run 2 wires from each mirror to the switch if you want the folding option.

First off, thanks to the OP for his time in helping us with this mod. I had purchased a pair of these mirrors to also add this feature, but never got the chance. My car was totalled.

I recently came across them after Spring cleaning. I would like to offer them to forum members first.

Anyone interested, please check my post in the black market if interested.
**** ALL REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED ****

When I test fit them on the car, I thought they actually looked pretty good on the car in-person and can possibly be wired up to fold with ignition on/off.

Thanks!

Couldnt you just buy these cdm mirrors and gut them, then put the guts inside the original usdm mirror and make it power folding? I mean if you don't want the big ass mirrors?

uhh.... oyayjoe.. there is a reason why folding the folding mirrors are bigger then usdm ones.. and it is because there is a motor inside..

lol.. talk about using some common sense.

uhh yea i highly doubt that motor inside is big, considering honda has made power folding mirrors on jdm integra's which are pretty small mirrors.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but if anyone who has done this mod and is still active, would you be able to help me answer the following questions below?

1. How many additional wires do the PFM mirror connector plug have compared to the Non-PFM (USDM) mirror connector plug. Someone mentioned 2 above for the PFM feature but I was wondering if there were 2 additional wires for something else.

2. On the back of the Non-PFM switch harness, how many additional slots are there to put the 2 pin connectors in?

Thanks in advance.

Are they bigger because the folding mechanism needs the room inside ?
or can we retrofit the OEM mirror with the mechanism from the CDN version...?

Where to find CDM TL mirrors in 2020?

So I'm going to REALLY bring a thread back from the dead - I realize I'm about 8 years late to this party but I'd love dearly to make this modification happen. Big issue: where to find these CDM TL mirrors at this point...

How desperate did I get? I got RL mirrors, ripped the turn motor out, heavily modified it, and jammed into my TL passenger side mirror. Did it work? Short answer, yes. Is it 100%? Nope.

Any advice? I'll start a WTB as well.
