2012 tl alignment issue
hello all , I am having a issue getting my car aligned , make a long story short car was hit o. The left front side very very minor hit on fender got small damage and mirror broke , 3 mechanics checked that side suspension setup and find nothing bent or anything but car is pulling to the left , took it to different alignment places and they say machine is reading good alignment but front left side is slightly off but cannot be adjusted . Asking me to buy $600 “camber kits” to make the wheel straight . Ki slt if anyone can help me with this I don’t have $600 to shell out at this moment any tips or cheaper way to get the car to drive straight thanks all very much in advance |
Are you still on the original struts and springs? Sometimes those sag as they age and the parts of the alignment that you're not supposed to ever need to adjust get out of alignment.

Can you take a pic of the alignment sheet? Camber alone wouldn't cause the car to drift left.

if the front fender was damaged there's a good chance the impact damaged or tweaked other suspension mounting points or parts that a mechanic could not see. You can try taking it to a bodyshop and see if they can put it on a frame machine and make sure the front subframe and everything else is in line and fine. A camber kit will simply get the camber back in spec but won't really correct a bent/damaged part. A slight bend can cause a lot of issues.
For example the Power steering mounts to the front subframe so if it was tapped or tweaked over it can cause issues. |
