2012-2014 TL with Manual Transmission

So i sold my 2008 Acura TL Type S, looking into something fun as DD.

seem like manual from 2012-2014 are very rare and only few in country for sale! should i look into 2009-2011 manual instead?

I had an 06 6MT TL myself and have been kinda looking for a 4G TL SH-AWD manual. 2009-2011 model year ones are ugly and I would look for a 2012-2014 one.

I can only imagine 4G manual ones would be much harder to find, because of the fact that the 6MT model had a huge price premium over the base FWD model. I am sure Acura sold much less 4G 6MT's than 3G. And then there is a growing trend of people wanting automatics, which explains why Acura does not offer manual on any models right now.

It could be a full time job to find one nationwide and hope that you find one before someone else does.

Gotta stay on the prowl for them, have the year/mileage/price ranges you're willing to work within established ahead of time, be ready to pounce/travel/inspect/pay when they pop up.

But it can be done - I found one ('12 SH-AWD 6MT)

It will be easier to find one if you are not picky. To me it would have to be under 45000 miles (I drive at least 20000 a year) and it would have to be CPO from a dealer. I know some people will say that CPO is not worth the price, but that's how I have always bought my used cars with some kind of a factory warranty. I just did a nationwide search on autotrader and there was none that met my criteria.

When I bought my 06 6MT in 2009, I had several to choose from within 100 miles. Those good days are over.

Im not sure where you are located but ive been following the market for the manuals 4g and notice that Bridgewater Acura
in NJ has been selling a good amout of them.
I have one myself and have been considering selling it so i tried following the market. It appears they are buying the manual 4G out of auctions..been checking out the Carfax on each car.
I was using autotrader to locate them as well.
The prices appeared to drop pretty good the last 6months so nows would
be a good time to grab one. You will not regret it. Wouldnt even consider the 5g until a manual option is available and pretty sure not happening ever.

The 10-11 models are the only once with 6 speed but overall patience will be the way to go. Maybe you will find a 6 speed with the umber interior lol. I love my 6 speed will be holding on to that for years to come.

Yes, that was just my opinion. I would prefer the looks of the 12-14 models. I didn't want to mean as offensive.
