2010 Acura TL CPO

Hi,

I have been in market for an 4th Gen TL. After a lot of research through the depleting inventory because of japan issue, I was able to find 2 2010 TL models with Grigio Metallic color.

First one has some 13k miles on it and the carfax shows it was on a personal lease, dealer was asking $31,995 and finally came down to $30k + $399 documentation fee + Will give all season mats.

Second one has some 11.5k miles on it and the carfax shows it was from a Corporate fleet dealer is asking $31,495 and isn't ready to budge on it (says may be a couple of hundreds)

Both cars are Acura CPO, Is this a good price for a 2010 car with low miles?

If the second one (Corporate fleet) offers a final price of some hundred dollars less than the first one, does it make sense to buy a corporate fleet car?

If I buy a car from a non-acura dealer will the acura warranty still cover it? And can I buy an extended warranty on that car?

Thanks in Advance.

Car #1 is repo.
Car #2 is a loaner.
Take the loaner.
BTW, these are FWD right?
Acura warranties are time/miles. Doesn't matter where the car comes from.
CPO warranty is a year and 12k if the other warranty has expired.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah both of them are FWD.

By the way, what does repo mean?

Thanks

^(Repossession) or possibly an early trade back. It doesn't mean that the car wasn't properly maintained, but you can bet that the loaner has had proper attention.

Oh..l was under the impression that it's not a good idea to buy a loaner vehicle.

About the prices, do you think this is a good deal?

People think that they are "beat-up" or something but in reality they get weekly attention from the dealer where as the repo is anyone's guess. You can always get the dealer to come down another $500, or get a set of wheels at cost.

Thanks for the reply, is it the same case with Demo model cars?
