2009 TL front seats reupholstered?

I searched the forums and I wasn't able to find anything about this subject so I apologize if there was already a thread asking a questions like this but has anyone had their front seats reupholstered in a 2009 TL? Mine are a ripped a little and I want to get it fixed. What was your experience like, was it worth it, what was the cost, etc.

I want to keep it looking clean but the little tear finally made its way into a long line.

Thanks!

the simplest thing would be to visit upholstery shops!!
the cheapest option would be to spot repair it.
one of the MOST expensive things you can do is have the shop reupholster your seat.

or you can grab the OEM seat cover and DIY...
or you can grab an alternative seat cover and DIY ...https://www.leatherseats.com/shop/

Swing over to your local Acura, maybe they can guide you. I just purchased a 2012 TL SH-AWD Black on Umber with 45k miles 2 weeks ago. Given the color of Umber, there were some creases that were visible, the GM told me they will take care of it complimentary. Last week they called me saying their leather expert will be in and had me drop my car off. All I can say is wow (wish I had before and after pics) seats look brand new! I asked the leather guy what the cost of this type of service would be if he came to my house, he said $200/seat. Now, I did not have any rips or tears, so I am not sure what they would charge for that.

I kind of wonder how much it would cost to have the seat's padding re-done? The original owner was heavy on the left side of the seat now I have no support there

I saw this posted awhile ago from Endless RPM. It looks pretty good to me....

Acura TL seat cover replacements

I have done this for my Acura TL 2009.
a. https://www.coverking.com/ca/seat-co...at-covers.html
b. OEM Rear Seat Cover.

endlessrpm.com carries a bunch of different seat cover options, from what I've heard the quality is good.

The seat covers do look good! However I don't think it'll fix my situation. I need the seat's padding/cushion to be redone. I think the cover offers a little bit more padding it does not fix my issue.

If you are simply trying to repair a rip / tear on a factory seat, don't overlook the junkyard. The driver seat in most cars of course gets most of the wear. I've seen a guy buy a passenger seat (cheaper easier to find with no damage) and remove the seat cover / bottom and replace his damaged unit on the driver's side. As getting them redone by a shop, call around. Although I will say that sometimes the price / wait can increase / decrease based on the time of the year.
