I can understand your suspicion with the low price.. have you looked at it closely?

Yes ... driven it, service records show speaker replaced and brakes done. Nothing else ... CPO inspection by the dealer shows 90/90 on the brakes and about 80% tires, nothing else they listed.

If you like it, buy it... sounds like a good deal to me. Low miles and decent $$.. How much warranty left?

A little over 3 years and 37K on the warranty + I can get the CPO Wrap.

I walked out on a 2011 deal last minute on Monday night (had signed all the papers, 0 miles, financing done, etc.) sales manager walked in and said $1,500 price increase to do the deal. Bait and switch if I've ever heard one.

Sounds like a great price. What are you worried about? Accident? The fourth item on the 150 inspection is "Carefully inspect unibody for signs of damage or prior repairs."
A CPO car comes with a 12 month BTB no matter how old it is(could be as much as six years old). If there is an issue, it is going to show up in the first year.

Main suspicion is that it was a leased vehicle and turned in after 18 months of use vs. finishing off a lease ... I realize the lease could have been only 18 months or turned in early, but if it i was a voluntary repurchase by Acura, it won't show up on carfax as a lemon.

Could be a victim of the economy, or it might be a the dealer limits their loaners to 30k. Car fax would tell you origin of the vehicle, if it is in the dealers name then you'll know for sure. Ours was a press demonstrator straight from AHMC in Torrance so you know they beat the shit out of it early in its life. Were at 30k now and it still runs like a champ. If it was leased that just means that it has had all its shots.

I've only owned two "brand new" cars, I regret not being patient and buying them slightly used. If you like it, the price is right, buy it.

Look at my history here ... I went through a TSX, TL, RL, FX35 and IS350 in a span of 6 years ... all new. That's why I'm thinking CPO is better now.

Will do though, going to buy it.

I can't help but ask.. how can one go through so many cars in 6 years and decent cars at that? I am a bit shocked/curious.

TL was totaled when somebody ran an intersection and hit me. FX35 was repurchased under lemon law. TSX I traded in after the dealer screwed up an oil change and the engine overheated. IS350 and RL I just got rid of and took the financial hit myself.
