2009 Acura TL VS 2009 Mazda 6
As much as I love Acura gas prices are on the rise and the new Mazda 6 is hot!
2009 Acura TL: 3.7 V6 (AWD) 3.5 V6 (FWD)
Gas: Prem
Price: est 37,000 to 41,000
Mazda 6: 1-4 3.7 V6 both FWD
Gas: Reg
Price: est 21,000 to 32,000
Both car pretty much offer the same equipment but the Mazda will have a better MPG and runs on reg gas. Kinda hard to pass up.

The Mazda looks too feminine, also, if people are concerned about regular vs premium gas maybe they should not be buying a luxury car. The Acura TL 3.7L AWD will do 16 MPG city, just like the 09 RL with same engine-drivetrain.

I think I would go in for the 09 AWD or 08 TL-S....given a choice.....but well again ur car is leased so well u can't do a whole bunch of mods....I would go ahead and buy a civic or tsx and mod it up.....but then again that's just me.....

Tone it down a bit, there's no need to be harsh in conveying you message.
To the OP:
As others have said, comparing a 20K Mazda to the unknow details of a TL isn't the best idea. If you do wish to compare them, compare it as the 6 vs. the RL as the TL will grow to the size of the RL and offer the same or even more things.
Also by the time you equip the 6 to the new TL's/current RL's specs, you will be at around 32K...
it's gonna be a 5K difference between the two, basically it will cover the price for better, design, looks, quality and reliability....
Example:
Have any person who doesn't know much about cars look at the following two pics and ask which they would drive:
