Hi, i was wondering if someone has tried to fit a 2012 rear lip into a 2009 model. i like the 2012 rear lip it looks better than the 2009. can some one share some info please thanks!!!

The 2012+ rear valances (Lip) does not fit the 2009-2011. Only way to achieve the 2012+ rear is to get the bumper and valances.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder...but i think you are the first perosn who has felt the 12+ rear looks better than the 09-11... the newer body kit looks tacked on in the rear... IMHO...

i initially disliked the 4G looks..they have grown on me.. and I find myself liking the older more angular/aggressive 09-11 look compared to the softened 12+.

the newer one looks too generic.

Not that it matters or should matter but I agree the pre '12 rear lip looks better in my opinion.
However, my understanding is that the 12+ rear lips are easier to install as there is only drilling involved where as the pre '12 has some cutting required.

i do like my 09 rear bumper i just dont like the rear lip ,because it almost covers the reflector ... the 2012 has a cleaner look. well thanks for you comments

I like the 2012+. Fits the style of the updated facelift. Maybe that just because I have the 2014 with the kit. I just saw the 09 with the kit 5 minutes ago. And it looks nice as well. Hard to decide. Wish it was a simple lip like the TSX rather then the valances.

i might go tothe dealer and get the rear lip and see if will fit.. if not i will just the the 09'

from my understanding it wont fit.. you can try but the way the rear bumper is shaped between the two is different.

i installed several 4g kits.. so i can honestly say it will look totally weird as the side of the bumper will be low but the center where the exhaust are will be high as well.

I have 2009 with aero kit. I don't think the new kit (rear) will work.

09-11 rear kit makes more sense than the 12+. imo
