09 TL key fob starts but otherwise useless...stumped

09 TL key fob starts but otherwise useless...stumped
So started having this weird issue. While the keyfob will start the car when ouside of the slot, it is otherwise useless.
-press button on door handle and all I get is a series of beeps
-fob lock/unlock buttons do nothing
-seats don't move to memorized settings
-while the driver door unlocks when put in park, no others do
-I'm sure I'm forgetting other symptoms
I did replace battery in the key fob, and did check fuse in slot 7 under the hood.
What next guys?
