Will an Intake really give more HP or just a nice sound?

I was thinking of buying an Injen Intake, I hear it might give 2-3 HP and a cool sound, Im ok with that honestly, will I notice an actual difference in the way the car drives, power?

absolutely no change in the way it drives....just the way it sounds

I believe Injen claims like a 10HP increase with their CAI.

I have one...it sounds OK. I've had it for 6+ years...so....I guess I'd have to drive a stock TSX at this point to give a comparison.

An intake such as Injen does three things:

Allows more noise out of the engine
Allows for a few more ponies up near redline at wide open throttle (below that, not much of anything)
Allows more dirt into the engine

If its just sound, they sell some for around $50 on ebay
