When does the next-gen TSX hit the dealerships?

Honda is generally on a five-year product cycle, right? And I'm certain the next TSX will be in 2009 as mentioned on the TSX forum.

If I remember, the first-gen TSX was introduced as an early 2004 model in April 2003.

With that in mind, do you think the next-gen TSX will hit the dealerships in April 2008 as a 2009 model year?

From what rumors I hear are turbocharger, SH-AWD, and a Coupe.

Doesn't the local honda commercial say that fall is the best season because honda releases the new models in November? *shrugs* Maybe it's just marketing. I always figured I got my 06 late (I got my TSX in April as a bday present to myself)...I got the TSX in like 3 weeks after I discovered it (went to Acura's website to check out the TL)

There are so many rumors. One of the rumors (from someone's dealership) was that there'll be a convertible? lol

Anyway, you don't want a first year model...especially if they do add all those goodies (turbo with AWD). Wait until the 2010 TSX at the least...or 2011 for the mid-cycle refresh

Everyone says skip the first year of a model, but I gotta be honest, I wouldn't wait a whole year. Sure it might have more problems than the following years but even for all the problems the '04 had/has, it wasn't that bad in all cases. Most of the problems were relatively small.

Plus you get to drive a very new car. I have to say it feels a little discouraging reading posts about people trading in their old warn out TSXs (for shitty SUVs and American makes of all things) and here I just bought a brand new one. I would have rather had the '04 in '03 than the '07 now in '07.
