As the title states i amd wonder what type of rotors do you guys recommend? I saw some drilled and slotted ones that were nice and i heard the oem ones warp easily. Has anyone had good luck with a certain brand?

It depends on whether you plan to track your car and what your budget is. I love my 2-piece rotors from RacingBrake, but they would be a big investment for a street-only car. Similarly, slotted rotors make more sense for track use whereas drilled may have some advantages for street use. Just Google "drilled vs slotted rotors" and there are lots of good articles on the subject

I would just get blank rotors, drilled and slotted are pretty much useless for street driving.

Centric rotors get consistently good reviews for our cars, that and the hats are painted so they won't exhibit rust like normal blanks.

Centric rotors (120.40046) and Akebono pads (ACT787) purchased on Amazon fixed the warping/pad material bulidup/whatever on my 2004 TSX and my 2006 TSX. For street use, I recommend them. I think the front rotors were about $45 each, and the front pad set was about $40.

This is exactly what I just installed on my 12' TL. I bedded them in correctly but they pulsed from the very beginning. It's not terrible, so I'm not interested in returning them, but I was certainly disappointed.

I had Brembo Blanks with Autozone Duralast Gold pads on my 06' TL and was very happy with them.

Ditto everyone here. Go with centric. You'll have no regrets.

I've been running these with rockauto pads for the past 6 months and haven't had any problems. Front and Rear Premium Drilled Performance Brake Rotors ( Rotors Only ) | eBay

While I have the 2-piece rotors in front, I'm running Centric blanks in the rear, and they've been fine, zero problems. I think they'd be great all-around for street use.

Two years later, are there any new champions in town, or are Centric/Akebono still top?
