^^Nikki was the gas that fueled several very entertaining TSX V. BMW threads. She could, at times, be incredibly hostile. She is also a former TSX owner.
Dear Nikki can now be found on several BMW forums.

>> What DON'T You Like About the TSX?
definitely lack of power and torque but that's universally recognized
My biggest gripe with TSX is that, I swear to God, 9 out of 10 times I see people driving one have been women, very very mature women ! I mean W-T-F !?

Woah nelly, the pontifications of worldly scholars had nothing on this broad's giant intellect. (Spelling and grammar is also horendous.)

I think the noise issue largely depends on what type of road you are driving on. On a smooth highway, it's great. On a rougher asphalt road, however, the grinding sound can be a bit grating -- and make it difficult to hear the speakers. Of course, you can fix this by slowing down from 85 to 55, but who wants to do that?

I love my horn lmao.
My 5 year old cousin was messing around my car when I was with my friends, and he was throwing around his Power Rangers toy around my car. I was like, "hey, stop messing around, around my car." He wouldn't listen so I let my alarm go off right next to him.
It was so loud that he was pushed off his feet.

She said: it's GINORMOUS!
no auto windows/moonroof open/close
no auto door lock
no a-spec suspen standard
no 22mm rear sway bar standard
no 18" euro-r wheel option
no duckbill lip spoiler option
besides that i'm happy with my TSX

Has anyone else been annoyed by the position/contour of the ignition? The way it's set up, the key FOB will hit the steering column everytime you take a corner or hit a small bump.

Personally, my only true dislike is the driver's seat - feels like the lumbar support is jabbing me in the back even in the lowest setting. Otherwise, it's a pretty awesome car and I'm convinced you can't duplicate its combination of features, comfort, and economy without spending another $5k. My wife loves it, and while that doesn't do anything to aleviate the post above (at least she isn't old ) that's really the key thing for me.
A few things I'd like to see, however...
Auto up/down on the windows
Memo option to include the o/s rear view mirrors as well as the driver's seat
Not having to flip 'ok' for the nav display on every ignition cycle (GM solved this in '04 for
goodness' sake)
Those seem pretty basic to me. Obviously a bit more low end torque would be nice, but you know what you get with Honda/Acura. No complaints, and in fact I was actually quite impressed with the power.
Honestly, and I'm not bashing here, just making an observation...I've found the car to be awesome as a transportation appliance, but so-so in terms of the driving experience. We looked very closely at a new Audi A3 and a used A4, and both of those just purred. Amazing road feel, beautiful drivetrain noises...just sweet, well-tuned machines. Granted, they were also > $3k more, and my wife peferred the TSX over both.

The only things I really wish it had are extenders on the sun visors.

Love my TSX, No complaints. I find it a bit strange to read some of these complaints, exspecially the low power/more torque needed, seat heater buttons, sunroof button, lousy stereo........ALL OF THESE THINGS WERE IN YOUR FACE WHEN YOU TEST DROVE THE CAR!!! You knew about these things BEFORE you bought and now that you bought the car KNOWING these things, you know want to complain.

I only have one MAJOR ( for me atleast) complaint:
I hate it when you shut the door it sounds like your slamming the door. They need more insulation on it or make it thicker for crying out loud. It's embarrassing to hear when my friends or colleagues at work ride in my car. They always "sorry, I didn't mean to slam the door"

I was very surprised to find that my '06 TSX didn't an option (in the MID setup menus) to have the doors automatically lock when the car starts moving and unlock when the car is shut off.
I also think the fact the two trip odometers only go to 999 before rolling over is quite stupid -- it wouldn't have cost them anything to have another digit (and yes there is room on the display for it)!

No car is perfect and the point of this thread is to discuss those imperfections. Fact is most if not all of us made compromises when we bought the TSX.

can't think of anything i don't like about the car.
can there be improvements? sure...
i'd consider a beefier steering wheel. it's not that i don't like the 05 stock wheel, it's fine. i think a beefier steering wheel would be more comfortable for me...

Speaking of the lock knobs not being flush with the doors...I tried to "unscrew" it, and it won't budge. I searched around here and found an old thread, but I'm not sure it was for the '06. I'll be asking the service guys on Saturday (same with the Center Console and running wires...see my thread in probs&fixes). I'll post what I find out.
That damn lock knob is my biggest complaint. I'm about to just cut the damn thing off with a dremel and smooth it out, with no regard to what it looks like.
