Tsx Mirror replacement or can i buy parts?
So guys my mirror got hit by a nyc correction vehicle as i was on a narrow street in chinatown. The truck cleared almost but managed to catch my mirror when the back wheelfender came and smashed the corner of my mirror.
Its not bad only the black shell is missing and the clear light lens. I'm not sure if anyone has taken our mirror apart, or has spare parts thought i'd ask before i dish out 350 bucks for a new one.

Why not try contacting the NYC corrections dept. to tell them you saw their trick hit your car? Quite often, if it sounds like you're being honest, (and not trying to fleece them, and asking for a mirror is certainly not), a city department will respond in a reasonable manner...such as paying for a new mirror.

Quite often, if it sounds like you're being honest, (and not trying to fleece them, and asking for a mirror is certainly not), a city department will respond in a reasonable manner...such as paying for a new mirror.

They just beat around the bush said a bunch of bs that i can't report since I left the scene already since the road was a busy street I went to the precient and said i moved the car so people can pass through.
They didn't listen to me at all just told me its too late.

I just had to replace my passenger side view mirror as well. Mine got clipped also, but in much worse condition. I paid something like $280 (including shipping) for it on the Acura Delray Site. I spoke to a local dealer and they wanted $375 for the mirror plus an add'l $150 or so to install, so $525 to replace it...screw that. I bought it myself, and installed it and its great so far. I just installed it two days ago. Was quick and simple, I have some helpful diagrams if you want, if you intend to install it yourself.

I have exactly the same crack as lcrazyaznl. How did you repair it? Were you able to get just the black plastic frame/cover?
