TSX crash tested - Side-impact crash results (IIHS)
I'm buying an '06 TSX, and I've been waiting for the release of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's side-impact crash results (MUCH MUCH more severe than the U.S. Government's side-impact crash, as this one actually has a higher barrier hitting the side of the car -- think SUV).
I checked the website today, and apparently, although they released ratings on the new VW Passat, Audi A3, and structurally modified Subaru Legacy (all '06 models), they've goofed and released info on the TSX as well (although it's not officially been released).
The info can be found here, and while it doesn't have the coded ratings of G (Good), A (Acceptable), M (Marginal), or P (Poor), I think it looks like it's comparable to the A4, which earned a "best pick" for side impact crashes.

Another note: It's interesting that it says this was an '05 TSX, when it says on another page that TSXs (presumably '06s?) are undergoing "design changes," apparently to improve side-impact crash performance.

Actual TSX page

They've put up the TSX page now, updated with pictures.
Looks like the torso injury numbers were higher than the A4. And that, coupled with greater intrustion, gives it the A (Acceptable) rating.
Hmmm....not entirely best in class, but not bad. However, still not best in class. I still think I'll get one, though.
