Are these TL or TSX A-Spec wheels?

Looks good! I think the TSX A-Spec rims were 17" and the TL A-Spec versions were 18".

If those are 17" wheels, and that's what they look like in the picture, then the odds of them clearing the Brembo brakes on the Type-S range anywhere from slim to none. Sorry.
I assumed the TLS waffle rims are 17” too, im guessing all TLS rims are 18”? |

It has nothing to do with wheel diameter; the TL Type-S waffle rims are 17", however, they have a sizable amount of backspacing most 17" wheels do not. I have the Brembo brakes on my car as well and when I go to TireRack and look up 17" wheels for my car, they list about 10 sets, however, if I look up the wheels for TLs without the Brembos they have something like 130 sets of wheels. Given your A-Spec wheels were not made for the TL, the odds of the backspacing being correct are pretty slim.

Yes, all Type-S models have Brembo brakes; said another way, the only Automatic equipped 3G TLs with Brembos were the Type-S models. :)
