dont worry steven (stphy32). the mods close out threads when they have no purpose or when the posts are totally off topic from what the original topic was.
they do this to prevent excessive pw (post whoring) in order to maintain the quality of the site.
in other words, say i start a thread "i love women" and then somehow it gets off topic by people diverging - and the thread ends up with pages with stuff like "i love hot dogs"
trust me, we've seen it happen.
so dont feel bad. domn used to always close my threads and call me a noob all the time.
remember what i told you - 99.9% of us are dorks the other 0.1% are girls (are you part of that steven?)

Well, stphy, you're not the first girl to post here, and guess what: you're not the only girl here who likes cars. When you call attention to being a girl and make broad overgeneralizations about what women do and don't know about cars, you can expect posters in a predominantly male forum to have a little fun at your expense. Why not use the search function, learn the ropes, and asked educated questions for a change?

well, it is kinda hard tho.
i mean the forum is setup with faq's and all that.
but i think alot of "senior" members kinda take granted all the info we know.
there's such a plethora of info on the site - it's kinda hard finding out simple things like - "what suspension to get"
unfortuntately - when stphy asks a simple question that is legitimate - we get pages of guys swarming in on the thread.
but i think stphy brings a certain revival to the community. i know i haven't pw since the merger of the sites until her first thread.

Yes, threads get locked when they meander off topic and the subsequent posts no longer contribute to the knowledge base. Acurazine also has the Off Topic area where meaningless threads/posts are tolerated (and where the biggest Postwhores hang out).

Is stphy32 a dude or chic? Dzuy calls him/ her Steven (which makes sense off the name), and everyone else refers to him/ her as a woman. I saw the other threads and realize he/she is an attention whore. Is this a guy trying to gain attention by being or wanting to be a woman?
