Sons 2007 TSX No crank no start

My sons 2007 Tsx will not attempt to turn over, I put the key in the ignition and turn it on his headlights are bright and strong, all the gauges light up windows and seats all work fine, but when I go to turn it over NOTHING! The motor doesnt budge. The head lights and dash lights dont dim at all but the radio shuts off. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Might have an issue with the starter.

Best to have it inspected. But a starter is a cheap place to....*start*?

If you hear rapid clicking sounds its the starter

if you hear something that sounds like "electricity" then its the battery

Rapid clicking usually means the starter isn't getting enough voltage from the battery.

I would agree that it is the starter. Sometime if you give the starter a good whack with a crowbar or mallet you may be able to get it to turn and potentially start the engine.

I also agree with this diagnostic procedure. This works for any electric motor in your car (fan motors, door window motors, moon roof motor, etc.)

I've had a problem like this before. It started intermittently.
Turned out to be the starter solenoid.
