Hello,

After spending the day washing/cleaning my car, I was cleaning the steering wheel and noticed that when I turn it back and forth there is a slight "clunk" when transitioning from one direction to the other. When the car is running, there is no audible sound, but I can still feel it in the steering wheel a little bit. None of this is noticeable when the car is rolling.

I have an '04. Does anybody else have this? Should I be concerned?

I'm not sure if it's related, but a few weeks back my power steering pump would make this clicking noise when the wheel was cranked all the way one direction or the other, but it stopped doing it the next day and hasn't done it since.

I just noticed that the clunk only occurs when the wheel is being turned left. No clunk occurs when the wheel is being turned right. My dad thinks it might be the rack. I want to know what you guys think.

Here are two attempts at capturing the sound via my digital camera's movie mode.

The first attempts is with my camera sitting in the drivers side windshield corner. The second attempt is with the digital camera under the car.
