Overfilled Trans. Fluid 20014 TSX Auto.
Hi:
I had my 2004 TSX with automatic transmission serviced last week and had the transmission fluid changed. I have driven about 70 miles and just checked the trans. fluid level. I did it on a level surface with the engine off as the manual states and just after returning from an hour trip in 80 degree heat. I checked it a few times and it looks to be about an inch above the top mark on the dipstick. Is this enough to cause damage? My mechanic is about a 40 mile drive. Am I safe driving it out there?
I did not notice any shifting problems.
Thanks..

Pop loose the drain bolt and drain some out. Also get a new mechanic if he can't even properly drain and fill Atf..
