I had to drive over a road that was being freshly paved (fresh enough that I actually left a tire mark.) As I drove over it my tires picked up and sprayed asphalt all around. As I continued to drive I could hear it coming off my tires and hitting my wheel well. When I finally stopped I quickly checked and there is defintaely asphalt stuck all around my wheel well and a bit on the outside of the car. Will this stuff eventually come off or should I be concerned?

I've had the same problem -- seems like my entire town is being repaved. It came off pretty easily with the clay bar.

well if you don't want the expense of a clay bar (i wouldn't use ever again)... they do make bug & tar removing products that work well.

repeat applications though... never comes off in the first application.

if you use the "bug and tar" remover, dont rub too hard. light light rubbing! it will come off with patience! you'll have to re-wax the sections you rubbed.
