Navi w/28k miles or Non-navi w/12k miles? Both same price
There's a few '04 TSX's on the market in my area to my liking.
One has 12k miles going for $22.5k, non-navi
The other has 28k miles, has navi, also for $22.5k
Which would you pick?

Same color? Any mechanical issues with either? Body condition?
I'd say drive both and watch for anything to come up. Also, judge which buyer would be easier to deal with.
Pretty few miles for a Honda either way.

I haven't seen or driven either of them. I've only seen the online ads.
So lets assume all else is equal, other than navi and mileage.
Both happen to be black (a third one I'm also interested in is gray with similar miles, price, non-navi).
But the main point of my question, given the mileage and navi differences, which would you choose for the same price?

16,000 vs Navi is the question basically. The depreciation for for those extra 16,000 miles is probably less than the cost of Navi. But the bigger factors are 1) do you want navi? 2) if you keep the car for a long time, the 16k miles is equavlent to about 1 year's additional use so it's not that much. I'd personally get the Navi just because I bought my car for the navi. If you don't care, get the 12k mile one.

I think your real question is Nav or no Nav. Get the car with Navi. With the TSX, there isnt much of a difference between 28K vs 12K miles on the 2.4 engine; its gonna last a long time regardless. The navi is absolutely worth it for me, so i say get the navi.

The only thing of value in that 16k is it's 16k closer to warranty expiration, which could potentially (but unlikely) be big bucks if something were to go wrong soon after.
The K24 motor uses a timing chain, correct?

There's an Acura dealer here that people recommend that only charged $1100 i believe. I can't remember the Acura dealer off the top of my head.
Maybe someone can chime in for me.
thanks
