Obviously the lip would have more shine to it with carbon fiber or poly (painted). i think it would need to be a little bigger also but the garage seal is pretty close.

Yeah, I think it looks like a great idea. (Although, I can't put myself on the list, having an '05 and all...)

Very great for DIY. excelent work. but it makes you car look less agressive and more like a shovel. great work though.

If you mean Dan Martin I've already talked to him. He pointed me in the direction of Ron Jon Sport.

Actually I was talking about Dan at MachV racing I have been emailing him back and forth but haven't heard anything in response yet to my latest email in regards to some round about pricing on CF and/or PU.

I haven't heard anything from Dan in a while now but to be honest with you, if supershyguy is going to make an 06 Mugen full bumper replica then I'm gonna abandon this

I wouldn't abandon it just cause he is making the full Mugen bumper. That thing is going to cost like $300-$400 before paint whereas your thing might only be like $275 tops in CF which won't need paint.

I did not cut the bottom section..thats how its made with the nice little lip. I did however, folder the rubber on the ends then had to cut a tiny bit off each end to make it flush with the line of the bumper. see pics.

I used some small screws that had washers already attached and just screwed up into the bumper. I'm fairly anal about doing stuff like this but I figured I'd never see them.

Hello, i really like you lip. What is the size of the screw of the bolt? Thank you.

They're pretty small as you can see from the pic. I will say this though, they need to be bigger/wider, the lip looks pinched in a few places so i need some bigger washers or some strips of metal to try and smooth it out.

Is there any problem with your lip? any bending during high speed driving, color changes, etc? I am going to do same thing as you.....

I've driven with it for a while now and it hasn't bent or discolored. My car is garage kept too though. I'm not sure if it bends at high speeds or not. I haven't had time to get with a friend and have him drive in front and see. I have been up to 90 and it stayed on there so I know its attached fairly well.

Look at the new WRX, its got some TSX characteristics. I think this is what a TSX would look like if we had someone to make a lip (which no one seems to want to do including DanV) I like the lip though!

The front looks very similiar at the bottom, notice the long gap that curves downward on the ends.

Then look at this section of the car, looks like a tsx down the side to me.

calling rondog!

i noticed on your page that you've got a urethane lip in the works for the new TL-S. i was wondering if you've got anything like this planned for 06+ tsxes, maybe like the one that the OP created for his car... but urethane. if so, i'd be definitely interested!

There's a sponsored group sale on a TL 04- 08 Carbon Fiber CSL Style Rear Spoiler and TL 04-06 A-Spec Add On Lip.

Of interest to us is the add on lip, I e-mailed ua6spec about a add on lip for the TSX...he said that he would need someone who lives near him (or I would guess work near him as well) could drop off their car for a few days...he could make a mold

If you look at the group buy, he has the lip/spoiler in both fiberglass and carbor fiber....I for one would surely be in to buy if we could make this happen!!

The rubber should hold up. On the Datsun site I used to go to, people used the same material to extend their front airdams down. They drove around with it everyday and it was fine
