Memory Seat 1, Memory Seat 2... WHAT do they mean?

So I lost my spare keys and remote and I am thinking about getting a new keyless remote off ebay instead spending the $300 for both the dealer quoted me.

I have a 04 tsx w/ navigation. As you all know the 04 model doesnt have memory seats? So which type of keyless entry do I need? I am thinking I need the "no memory" but I am not totally sure. The serviceman totally confused me when he said that I needed memory seat 2, which didn't make sense to me knowing that I do not have memory seats.

If anyone knows which kind I need it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

BTW: if key serials off my existing remote are:

FCC ID: OUCG8D-387H-A
IC: 850G-G8D387HA

Omron corporation JAPAN.

doesnt matter to you because you dont have memory seats like 06 does. just get the memory 1 because its cheaper.

i had two memory seat settings in my CL, a separate key fob would adjust the seat to the coupled setting

i'm not sure about the tsx's settings, but i'm guessing each remote stores the info for a different seat position (person), or one remote stores the info for two separate settings

So pretty much if I buy memory 1 all the features, lock/unlock/panic/trunk should work right? I heard stories of people who bought a memory 1 or memory 2 and their unlock feature wouldn't work =(.

Maybe it's because Acura knows the wives loose their memory 2's more often than hubbie's memory 1's ?
