VA/MD/DC June 30th Mid-Atlantic TSX Install Meet & BBQ
Welcome back guys.
Weather's finally getting HOT. Just the way I like it
Mike and I a while back were talking about having a install meet for the MD/VA/DC/PA area near the end of June or in July. We had a pretty good outcome last time for our 2007 First Meet at Dave and Busters, and I was actually quite surprised with the turnout. I know that some of you have some new stuff to install, don't lie now..
Even I have a few things to install myself. What's better than spending a weekend installing parts, and having a BBQ at the side. 
Anyway, Mike's interested in throwing this at a specific Park area near his home in VA which sounds like a pretty good idea to me. The whereabouts of this exact location is unknown to me as of yet, because I don't live near him, and Mike's been a bit busy. I'm throwing this up to gauge interest in fellow MD/VA/DC/PA area members to make this meet even better than our last one.
I'm sure that CGPTSX06 will be joining us all the way from PA, so let's have a nice turnout for this particular meet. I'm willing to give up a full day on a Saturday/Sunday for this meet. I really need the break from work anyway.
Date: June 30th
Location : Park & Ride lot on Stringfellow Rd, right next to Rt 66. (Google Map Link)
Time : 12pm - Whenever

Hey, I'm back. Took a little extended vacation 
I'm down for this meet just about any time.
As far as the location, we need a new one, and I've suggested a park-and-ride lot I live near here in Fairfax. Its at the point where 66 goes over Stringfellow Rd (check this bad google map link) and its completely deserted on weekends, aside from some buses they park in the back, as seen in the picture. Its flat, open, pretty easily accessible (if you count 66 as accessible) and as far as I know, its not patrolled by any police or rent-a-cops.
I got a lot of catching-up to do on whats been happening with the site, but I'll be back around now.
I'm down for this meet just about any time.

It's come to my attention that crazy azn is joining us as well from NY.
This is going to be quite a turnout.

June 30th seems to be a good time for all, and with this much interest, lets start locking down the date. With it only 3 weeks away, I don't want to hear people start planning weekends away and then its "Oh, I wanted to come but..."
Just do it
Keep the discussion open for a location, I'm open to new ideas. The one big downfall to the location I've suggested is that it is unprotected from the bright afternoon sun. It will be a hot one!

Hmm... well, we can all benefit from a little tanning.

I might hit this up on my way home from NC. might need to find a cheap hotel to stay at though since I am coming home June 29th and not the 30th.
