DOES ACURAS WARRENT COVER THIS???????? MAN IM SO HEATED RIGHT NOW. i THINK ITS FREAKING SBC WHO DID THIS WHEN THEY WERE FIXING THE TELEPHONE LINES.

Warranty is a guarantee against defect.
This was not a defect.

Search if you wanna find fixes though. I remember there being some threads with possible fixes. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

no it's not on the warranty, but did u get the somekind like package protection for dings and windshield crack when u get u car?? u'll get all dings, windshield crack, and (rockpin maybe, dont know) fixed 4 free...

i just got my first ding and the dealership offers 1st ding removal for free. I'm taking it in to do it but i also got a plan that covers minor dings and tire/wheel warranty for 5 years. hopfully i won't have to use it but its there if need be. a ding will happen sooner or later, no way around it. it sucks but live with it or have someone look at it for PDR. I hear they can do wonders.

are you sure you get one free ding removal? I bought the extra warrenty that covers electrical stuff..does that count? man i hate dings

clutch performance you dont even know how obsessed im with my car!!!!! I havenever bought it to a parking lot before! I NEVER park on curbs that doesnt have extra space

yes i just set up an appt for Dent Wizard through the dealer. First ding removed for free. Its a dealership promo only. People seem to get confused and think Acura is offering this... i'll try to take pics of the ding (before/after) and let you know how it goes. I pray well.

The plan I got is called a "Multi Shield Protection Package" that is adminstered through IAS Claims. www.fasterclaims.com is the site they told me to go to to file a claim. This 5 yr plan offers minor dents/ding removal and replacement or repair of tire and wheel, mounting, balancing, valve stems, sales tax, and labor. Protects against blowouts, nails, glass, potholes...

I haven't read all the fine print but its for 5yrs (I could have chosen 3yrs at a cheaper cost but the finance guy neglected to mention this and put 5 but lucky for him I wanted it for 5).

oh forgot, the plan also includes winshield repair and roadside assistance (not really needed) but the fine print may tell a whole other story, i'll have to research this later...
