my 2005 tsx has acquired a ton of paint chips on the front edge of the hood and fbc. its NHBP so they are pretty noticeable. has anyone found a clear/protective bra that you can buy in the same color as the car? i would rather add a NHBP film to it instead of repainting a bumper and hood...

Between road rash, chips, and UV fading; it would be difficult to match the color of a +13 year old paint job if they made painted clear bra. I've had my 3M clear bra on my 06 CPG TSX since new (+140,000 miles now). The clear 3M has done a very good job for matching the paint color under the bra as the paint ages. I even have the clear bra on the headlights, fogs, and side mirrors and those have stayed road rash free and headlight are clear from hazing. I paid around $200 back in 06 for the Clear bra and it was was over $550 when I did my MDX with almost same amount of film back in 2014. You can almost repaint those areas for the same amount of money.
