Lazy start

I don't know where to post this. My apologies. It's scaring me daily when I have to drop my son off to school. I have "lazy" start. I am attaching a 36 second video that shows that car eventually starts. It was NOT attributed to battery or starter by one mechanic. I didn't want to take it to Acura yet due to their charge to just "look at it" because I can't throw around money like that unless they roll it into the fix. But they won't. I am not making very much. 😔

Ah! It won't upload my video because it says it's 'too large'. It's 36 seconds avi. Took forever to convert. May I email it to someone!?

If your vehicle is the only way you can get your son to school, then you need to have the car fixed regardless of price. Or maybe just trade it in on something else?

Have you taken it to an independent shop? Have you followed the manufacturer recommended service intervals since purchase?

Yes, I have been good about servicing it regularly. I used to have a battery drain problem which we found to be related to the bluetooth, which was then disconnected.

My money is still on battery. Due to the colder weather, battery symptoms are exacerbated.

Thank you ThoiBoi. I have managed to put it on YouTube now. Link in the above comments. I didn't remember to copy/paste it here and now I cannot open YouTube.

Nice DP by the way.

UPDATE:
I have managed to find a way to get it to a mechanic for a full 24 hours so let's see what it comes to.
I will report back my findings.
Tomorrow there will be a snow storm. :\

I just wanted to say that I experienced something very similar and took mine into the dealer. After a week of diagnosing it and testing the alternator, starter, and battery, they found nothing wrong. However, I told them to go ahead and replace the starter motor and that was the issue. I'm guessing that the starter diagnostic tests aren't so great. I have 167,000 miles on my 04 TSX so that starter did last a while.

I just had this issue, and it was the starter motor. It sucks you have to remove the intake manifold, but took me 3 hours tops.
