Hi,

Has any one installed iSimple ISHD571 in Acura 2005 TSX with Navi ? If so could you please post the instructions.

I am confused by following some of the threads mentioning that i need to take the front trim (behind the steering wheel and also on the passenger side).

I am planning to put in the console under the CD.

Really appreciate your help.

take the big bin out just pull it out and unclip the light. the reach your hand under and pull the white clip out of the navi, now connect that clip and the isimple cable to the y splitter included in the kit and plug the other end back into the navi. if you dont use the y splitter you wont be able to use the navi. on my 04 w/ navi i had to put the number 3 dipswitch down to use the cd mode. after that test it and then put everything back in.

sidenote if the navi doesnt recongize the isimple when you plug it in unplug the connecter on the isimple module and plug it back in.

i meant the big bin under the navi. no need to remove trim pieces.

This device works with the steering wheel controls?

Yes. You can advance and reverse tracks as well as control the volume from the steering wheel. You cannot ff or rewind though. That has never worked in these cars with these types of adapters.
