Ipod Mount

I recently installed the Blitzsafe HON / AUX DMX V.2X. I went with this one as opposed to the direct ipod feed because my wife has a Zune and we wanted both to be able to work. Does anyone know of a cigarette lighter ipod mount that also charges the ipod? Thanks in advance.

+1 on the Kuda mount. I have one and I love it. I have the standard cell phone mount and the disc that came with my TomTom below it. That way I can have the TomTom and my iPod Touch above and to the rear of it when I'm on long trips.

I just installed a KUDA mount to go with my USA Spec PA15-HON2 iPod/iPhone interface in my 2004 TSX. A great combo and they are both very easy to install and it looks very good.

Here is KUDA's website for the USA....

http://www.kudausa.com/

Just use the "KUDA configurator" they have on that page.

and USA Spec...

http://www.usaspec.com/product.php?ProductID=29

I pulled out the center compartment to get to the bottom of the radio, hooked up the USA Spec PA15-HON2 and ran the iPod/iPhone connector cable so it came out the right side of the center console on the passenger side foot well. I then installed the generic plate that came with the "Universal Passive Medium iPod Holder" that I bought from KUDA onto the KUDA-BASE mount with the 4 screws and then installed the mount following the instructions.

I will probably get some sort of cable management clips to secure the iPod cable underneath the KUDA mount to make it a little neater.

All in all a very easy install and with the exception of attaching the generic plate onto the KUDA-Base for the iPod Holder it (using 4 screws) it was a tool-less install.

Yeah a little pricey but it is made of leather, matches the color pretty close, looks good, fits perfectly and very easy to install.

Yes it works with the iPhone 3G (that is the phone I have and is in the pictures).

Yes you can change tracks from the steering wheel.

If you have a TSX that came with XM Radio it will also show the text information on the display (sadly XM wasn't available for my 2004 TSX).

Couldn't you have bothered to read the text under the photo that said "I will probably get some sort of cable management clips to secure the iPod cable underneath the KUDA mount to make it a little neater."

Regarding the post, the Kuda mount looks beautiful! the only reason im not gettin it right now is because I'm currently in my own recession after gettin a new sub box and lowering my car this summer. are there any other companies out there that have products similar to Kuda's?

Not feeling that mount at all. Regardless of price. It looks cheap.

If you haven't seen it in person, please don't say anything. I can't say for the gray, but my black one is beautiful!

GeorgeTSX, you can make your install cleaner by installing the wire UNDER the Kuda mount. That's what I did. No wires will show and it's super clean!
