Headlight lens scratched
My 2008 tsx both headlights have been sanded down and polished but have this weird spotted small scratches and don’t know how to fix it. HERE ARE THE PICTURES https://imgur.com/a/avoWjJc |
IMO: The pics appear to show " etching" type damage to the lens cover, and not scratches, resulting from the sanding/refinishing process. It would appear that when the lens was sanded/polished, the person refinishing the lenses did not go deep enough into the surface of the lens to remove these imperfections. There is also the possibility that the damage to the lens is so deep, that these areas could not be sanded or polished out! Normally, the worst damage occurs on the most horizontal surfaces. Have you asked the person who performed this job for you, why these imperfections exist?
