Question Which generation civic had best style?

Another thread got me thinking, which generation civic do you think has/had the best styling? I went ahead and included the way back ones just for fun. :P

IMO also I think the 92-5 coupe looked best overall. However, the later 96-99 sedan I think was the better 4-door.

I liked my 92 sedan a lot - the styling was sportier than the later models - very similar to the coupe. Some people would try to get into the back seat by flipping the front seatback forward and try to squeeze through. The fact that it was Milano Red probably had something to do with it.

96-2000, si coupe please. I love these 2 door civics done right. They are awesome to me. They really helped make the import car scene what it is today.

Pay homage!

5th gen Civics (1992-95) are still the best hands down.

92-95 Coupe. Such nice lines for an economy car.

As the 96 was debuting, an article in Automobile said Honda's research showed people thought the previous generation was "too sporty". Hence the duller 96-00.

I still have a soft spot for my 78 Civic, though.

The 4th gen 1990-1993 Honda Accords is the best looking design or any Accord designed before 1997 back to the original from 1976 looked good IMO.

98 -present the Accords have gotten bigger and uglier..IMO.

you could be biast to the 90-93, cause u own a 92 accord, i had a 99 accord and liked the style of it, but now the 03-present ones, eww, now those are big and ugly.

is that 1970s car a ford pinto or that amc gremlin? those are hilarious.

I'd say for the sedan, the '97 Accord was the best year. And for the coupe, the 98-02 coupes.

As far as Civics go, I've always liked the CRX and Del Sol models...they just looked like fun.

The other item in that research was that there wasn't enough differentiation between the three body styles. Hence, the stodgy sedan and weird hatchback.

My favourite Accord is the 86-89 with the pop-up lights, because it looked like the Preludes of the day.
